The store carries the full range of new writing implements, a nice selection of used and classic pieces, has on-site pen repair, a wide selection of inks to feed your fountain pens (a complete color swatch book will aid in your ink selection), parts, pieces and paraphernalia (converters, sacs, nibs etc.), and an assortment of the finest papers to put under your pen.

The Pear Tree Pen Company opened its virtual doors in January 2006. Started by an enthusiastic hobbyist and pen collector as a way to share his love of fountain pens, the store has grown far beyond what was originally anticipated. Instead of selling just a few pens, we now carry a wide assortment of products designed to enhance the pleasure of using fine writing instruments of all types.

A long standing pen shop in Downtown New York City, just off Broadway, on the R line, close to the financial district, the Staten Island Ferry, the former site of the WTC, and City Hall, the shop carries most brands of pens, and has a fairly good range of vintage pens. They are price competitive, and offer repairs. They also carry fountain pen accessories and inks (including Noodlers).
